How can I become a member of IGBK?

IGBK has three members by statute: Deutscher Künstlerbund, GEDOK, and Berufsverband Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler/BBK. Individual artists can become member of one of these organisations, and eventually get engaged in IGBK's activities through that. IGBK acts as the German National Committee for the International Association of Art/IAA Europe.

However, IGBK's services and consulting offers are available to all organized and non-organized visual artists in Germany, working internationally, with questions for instance concerning transport and costums or social insurance. Feel free to call us (+49 30 23 45 76 66) or send us an email (This email address is being protected from spambots. Have a look at the information portal www.touring-artists.info, our joint project with the International Theatre Institute (ITI) Germany and the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland. The website provides information on visas and residence, transport and customs, taxes, social insurance, and copyright related to cross-border mobility for artists working internationally. The project is supported by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
